A movie per letter

My 101/1001 list - #100
I will be attempting to watch 26 movies I've never seen before -- one for each letter of the alphabet.

Here goes:

C - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (with Johnny Depp) 07/11/10.  This movie was kind of creepy.  And pointless.  But I did like the visuals of it and can appreciate the amount of work it must have taken to make the world of the factory come to life.  Johnny Depp was good in it - his performance 'made' the creepiness - if that's a compliment.

S - Shakespeare in Love 07/08/10.  I don't know why I have never seen this movie.  I'm not quite sure what I thought it was about, but it surprised me to say the least.  I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be marking it to watch again for anything I may have missed.  It brought up my opinion on Paltrow too, which up until now hadn't been all that great.  A good date movie (although I watched it alone) with love, action and some comedy mixed in.
T - The Illusionist (with Edward Norton) 03/27/11.  I watched this with Mr. Penguin for date night.  I was expecting a movie of suspense - and got a full on romance.  Such a beautiful story though!  I love Edward Norton and he didn't disappoint.  Also, Jessica Biel was a pleasant surprise.  I wasn't expecting all that much from her in the film, but her natural beauty and subtle, yet large, presence was great.
